DAY WISE TOUR ITINERARY

ARRIVAL AT TRIVANDRUM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - KANYAKUMARI
Arrival at Trivandrum Airport, You will meet our representative. Have your breakfast and drive to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is the southernmost end of Tamil Nadu, the Land’s End of India or the point where the three seas meet - the Bay of Bengal, The Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Later visit Kumari amman temple dedicated to the virgin goddess Kanyakumari (Parvati) who stands guard over the country. The temple is built at the spot where the goddess is believed to have waited for her consort Lord Siva. Gandhi Memorial, constructed at the spot where the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were kept for public view in an urn before a portion was immersed into the three seas. Vivekananda Memorial built on the Vivekananda Rock where the great Philosopher and guide Swami Vivekananda went into meditation that transformed him into one of the most charismatic spiritual leader. The Thiruvalluvar Statue, or the Valluvar Statue, is a 133-feet tall stone sculpture of the Tamil poet and philosopher Valluvar, author of the Tirukkural, an ancient Tamil work on secular ethics and morality. KANYAKUMARI - MADURAI
Have your Breakfast and check out from the hotel. Proceed towards Madurai on the way to Madurai you will visit Gandhi Memorial Museum - The National Gandhi Museum has a very rich collection of original relics, books, journals and documents, photographs, audio-visual materials, exhibitions, art pieces and other memorabilia closely connected with Mahatma Gandhi, Kastur Ba and Indian Freedom Struggle. Sri Meenakshi Amman Temple - Synonymous with Madurai is the Meenakshi Sundareswarar twin Temple, the pivot around which the city has evolved. The Meenakshi Temple complex is literally a city – one of the largest of its kind in India and undoubtedly one of the oldest too. Thiruparankundram Temple. MADURAI - RAMESWARAN
After breakfast move towards Rameshwaram one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Legend says that Ramanathaswamy Temple - a holy pilgrimage site for Shaivites, Vaishnavites and Smarthas. Mythological accounts depict the presiding deity, the Lingam of Ramanathaswamy (Shiva), as having been established and worshiped by Rama, before he crossed his bridge to the present-day island of Sri Lanka,stands where Lord Rama performed worship of a Sand Lingam made by Sita. After that visit Gandhamadhana Parvatham – Surreal Place. It is believed that the Gandhamadhana Parvatham is the mountain which was mentioned in Ramayana. This is the same mountain from where Lord Hanuman was supposed to bring the medicinal herbs for saving Laxman's life Overnight at the Rameswaran.
RAMESWARAN SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast sightseeing of Rameshwaram- the most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Srilanka. The presiding deity is the Linga Of Sri Ramanatha Swamy, which happens to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of India. Rameswaram is also popularly referred to as the 'Benaras of the south'. In order to attain Moksha it is believed that the visit to Rameswaram is mandatory. Overnight at the Rameswaran.
RAMESWARAN - TIRUCHIRAPPALLI
Morning after breakfast Check out from the hotel and Visit the Kaveri and Kollidam rivers flow around Srirangam Island, which is known for sacred Hindu sites Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, with intricately carved gopurams (towering gateways), and Jambukeswarar-Akilandeswari Temple, dedicated to the god Shiva. The Rock Fort Temple complex towers over the city center. Overnight stay at the Tiruchirappalli.
TIRUCHIRAPPALLI - KANCHIPURAM
Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram is one of India’s seven sacred cities and one of its loveliest temple towns also known for its handloom silks, followed by visit to temples Kailasnathar, Vaikuntaperumal, Ekambareshwara, Kamakshiamma and Sakiswarar. We visit Kailasanatha Temple. The temple is famous for exquisite carvings & attracts devotees & tourists alike. There are 58 small shrines situated around the main shrine, as a compound wall. Next we visit Ekambaranatha, ancient temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The 3000 year old mango tree inside the temple has 4 branches each yielding different variety of mangoes.Before returning to Mahabalipuram we will also visit Kamakshi Amman Temple, known as Parabrahmaroonpini. You can do shopping of silk cloth market and weavers homes. Overnight stay at Kanchipuram.
KANCHIPURAM - TIRUPATI
Morning After breakfast, proceed towards Tirupati. Tirupati is a city in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Its Sri Venkateswara Temple sits atop one of the the 7 peaks of Tirumala Hills, attracting scores of Hindu pilgrims. Sri Venkateswara National Park, home to the temple, also contains the Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park with lions and primates. Nearby, next to a waterfall and cave believed to be sacred, Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Check in at the hotel and the rest of the day is free at leisure. During your free time, you can walk out to explore the surroundings, interact with locals, visit local markets or stay back in hotel to take pleasure of its modern amenities. Overnight stay at Tirupati.
TIRUPATI SIGHTSEEING
Morning after breakfast local sightseeing of temples in Tirupati including Sri Govindarajaswami Temple - This famous temple in Tirupathi is a remarkable achievement of the ancient south Indian architecture. It has an impressive outer gopura and an inner gopura. The inner most gopura is the earliest one, dating from the 14th century and has carvings that depict scenes from Ramayana and Lord Krishna's life. Kapila Theertham - The temple celebrates all important festivals of Shaivism which includes Maha Shivaratri, Karthika Deepam, Vinayaka Chavithi, Adikirtika etc. Padmavati Temple - a shrine devoted to Goddess Padmavati or Alamelu Mangai, the consort of Lord Venkateswara. Trimala (Tirupati Balaji) Temple - The Temple is dedicated to Venkateswara, a form of Vishnu, who is believed to have appeared on the earth to save mankind from trials and troubles of Kali Yuga. Akash Ganga & Paap Vinashni Temple. Overnight at the Tirupati.
DEPARTURE AT CHENNAI AIRPORT
Morning after breakfast check out the Hotel and drive towards the Chennai international Airport/Railway station for your onward journey. Tour ends with happy memories.
